Family Meal Making

A Table of Peace

There is no greater bonding place than around the dinner table. When it’s family meal time and members set down to eat together a peace that exceeds understanding can settled down to the table with them. When a family consistently sups together bonds are formed as meals are shared and life is discussed.

That’s why I am sharing how I go about meal making in my home. It’s part of my keeping responsibilities. But it is a task that I approach with much joy because cooking brings peace to my heart and love to my table.

Meal Making by Renée at Great Peace Academy

A part of home and keeping is meal making. It happens every day, several times a day. The entire family needs sustenance and as keeper of the home it falls to me, the wife and mom, to ensure that meals are prepped, cooked and ready to eat in a timely manner.

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.” Psalm 37:25

Full pantries become empty quickly if I fail to provide. This doesn’t mean that I have to do all of he work. In fact, it’s good if others help out in the kitchen. Families bond in kitchens. But I must ensure that the fridge, pantry and freezer are well supplied, ready for any meal that needs to be prepared.
