Love Science? Super Science Items to Consider for your Homeschool | GreatPeaceAcademy.com #ihsnet

One of my favorite times of the year as a homeschooler is back to homeschool time. I just love stocking up on school supplies like, Ticondaroga pencils, all sharpened with fresh erasers on the ends, pristine new spiral or composition notebooks, binders and dividers. I love having on hand brand new text books organized and ready to educate my child for the year.

I’ve gathered together some super science items for you to consider for your homeschooling year.

  1. All the ebooks drew me in to this giveaway. We’re a science-loving family and ebooks make it easier to indulge this love. Thank you for this giveaway!

  2. Science is our favorite subject! Messy and unpredictable (from their viewpoint) and ever so much fun. Even when you have to write up your results 🙂

  3. We love to do chalk art! We’ve just started our summer break from year round homeschooling and all my son wants to do today is chalk art. Ebooks also help to keep our tiny home from being overtaken by books and allow us to take a lot of books to the beach without weighing us down.

  4. I’m excited about the whole basket! My little guy loves science and we have to save it for last or else he won’t do anything else! This would be amazing to have and he would have so much fun.

  5. I can’t choose! The weather station, perhaps. Or the DK books! DK books are wonderful. The chalk pastels art in space looks really cool too, and I’m sure my boys would love it.

  6. The word science is what caught my eye, but I’m also an artist so Chalk Pastels Art in Space really catches my interest. I look forward to reading your blog, we need more peace on a daily basis. Thank you.

  7. I am excited about all of it. Science is one of our favorite subjects to explore. Looking it over I can see the joy in my kids faces in using these materials. But I will narrow it down and say that the tornado tube and the green science weather station, along with the mammal encyclopedia are jumping out at me. Thank you for this opportunity and good luck to all.

  8. I’m excited about several things in this giveaway! The Art in Space book looks fantastic (I love astronomy!) and the weather station would make a great addition to our curriculum. Thanks for offering the chance for this giveaway!

  9. Studying weather is definitely a weak spot in my homeschool, I have scheduled it and then skipped it more than once 🙁 So – I’m excited about the weather station and the NatureXplorers ebooks.

  10. I am really interested in the Shining Dawn e-books. I have been looking at them for nature studies and would love to get some.

  11. We love science, but I am most excited by the hands-on projects like the Tornado Tube and the Growing Crystal.

  12. So many awesome inspirations here! The Tornado Tunnel and Crystal kit look particularly enticing!

  13. We’re rocking physics this year with my 3 boys, so the BluePrint Physics would be a great addition to our intentions. However, science is our cup of TNT around here! So we’ll be more than ecstatic to get the whole basket load!

  14. I am especially excited about the art and science aspect. The chalk drawing in space is certainly intriguing. I am also really interested in the introduction to the periodic table.

  15. I believe my son would be so excited about the “Captivating Clouds • Remarkable Rain • Snow & Ice ” book. He loves science

  16. These all look like great resources. My middle child especially LOVES bugs, so those titles stood out.
    Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  17. It all looks so great! My kids would love them all. If I had to choose, I think my favorites would be the weather station and the DK books.

  18. I’d like to have the weather station and the blueprint science, they seem like they would be interesting to learn from.

  19. My son is 6 and loves everything science. It started with cheetahs but has grown to an interest in every animal and now insects. We have been focusing on science this summer since the weather has been good for insect experiments, but I told my son we won’t have quite as much time for it once we add back all the other subjects we took a break from. He was so disappointed. He loves to look at this kind of stuff in his free time, so I would love to feed the fire :). He would love the mammal and bug books!

  20. I always liked DK books. I have been eying the NaturExplorers by Shining Dawn Books for a while. This is a wonderful basket of resources!

  21. I’m most excited about the bug books. My little girl loves playing in the garden, and there’s always some bug she’s asking about. I’d appreciate having some materials to help us learn about them.

  22. Oh my goodness! So many great resources – how to choose just one? Give Your Child the World, the pastel art of space, all the great picture books!! 🙂 Thank you!

  23. Wow, what a basket! The chalk pastel lesson caught my eye. I also saw some science resources I’m not familiar with. We love science at our home. Thanks for the opportunity to win .

  24. I have a love of books. All books. I don’t discriminate. BUT, I would love to win this because of that gem included in there called “Chalk Pastels Art in Space”. Our homeschool is best run in a way where everything is cross-curricular. The kids love it, I stress out less, which in turn is better for everyone. We are studying astronomy this year, and always, always, always trying to further instill a love of art – both theirs and others’ – in them. We’re making strides in that direction (thank you, Bob Ross <3), but I am of the belief that one can never have too many books, too many resources, or too much in the way of art supplies. My dear hubs can always build us more shelves, bless his heart. Thank you for this opportunity!

  25. Looks amazing! My son would like the Tornado tube and I’m excited about the space-centered pastel drawing e-book.

  26. I am most excited about the Chalk in Space book, because we are doing Apologia’s Astronomy this year.

  28. LOVE the tornado tube. I lost mine years ago and my son has been begging me to find him another one. Favorite educational toy ever!

  29. It all looks great and would help so much with our science lessons. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Blueprint Science books.

  30. Hello! 🙂
I think I’m most excited about the Chalk Pastels Art in Space. We had such a fun time learning about the Solar System last year, it would be fun to review that and incorporate it into our art this year.
    Thanks for this opportunity!
