Lasagna is a family favorite. I’m fairly certain my Beloved could eat lasagna at least once a week. But, that’s not a good idea when you are eating healthy and on a low-carb, Trim Healthy Mama eating plan.
But, it’s also not impossible to enjoy a good lasagna either.
But even if you aren’t on a special low-carb eating planning we all know that too many carbs spikes blood sugar.
So it’s good to know you can enjoy a family favorite like lasagna without worrying about carbs.
How is this possible? By replacing the noodles with healthy vegetable versions. zucchini, spinach, butternut squash are all good alternatives to pasta.
If your family just insists that you do use a pasta, don’t worry, there are some great recipe ideas below for you as well.
