Seeking Peace

Seeking Peace in Life via

I’m  a child of God seeking peace through the study of God’s word, the Bible. I seek His peace for all areas of my life. Whether it is in through my role as wife, or motherhood while training up my child in the nurture of the word, or as a friend and encourager to others my aim is the same, to seek and share the peace that surpasses all understanding which is only found in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Christ did not expect us to remain fully separated from the world, rather, He left us with a great commission to “go into all the world…” Mark 16:15,16. He desires for me to share knowledge of His word with others so that they too can come to know the truth of God and seek His peace as well.

He enables us with different abilities in order to do His will, for me, I write. So I will be sharing devotional thoughts, Bible Studies, and information for moms, families, and children to aid in further study of God’s word. My hope is that through sharing these devotionals and lessons I can assist you in finding peace both for yourself and your own children.

Training Your Child in Peace

If you are a parent then you have been blessed by God our Creator, Psalm 127:3. He also has asked of you to teach your children to train them up in His ways, Proverbs 22:6, in the nurture and admonition of His word, Ephesians 6:4, and to be taught by him. In doing so we are helping our children to grow in peace and the Lord says great shall be the peace of your children.

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.” Isaiah 54:13

As my husband and I endeavor to train up our own child to know the peace of God, I offer you encouragement through devotional studies of Biblical parental roles.

Bible Lessons for Children

Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.” Psalm 119:165
As mothers, we can take courage and understanding from scriptures. Paul remembers Timothy’s mother and grandmother and the genuine faith that was in them. “when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.” 2 Timothy 1:5. We can boldly teach our children from scripture. Our aim for our children should be heaven and the only way we can get them there is to point them to the cross.
I offer Bible Lessons for Children to aid you in your work as a mom who is pointing her children to the cross, teaching them to know God through a study of His word from the beginning to the Revelation. Sometimes the Bible Lessons will be ones that I write other times they will be ones that I share which I use in our homeschool, congregation Bible classes and others that I think would be beneficial to your family.

Study. As wives and moms we get pretty busy. It is difficult at times to make time for Bible study. But it is something we should do. If we want to draw closer to the Lord we must study from His word. He is ever faithful, but we become neglectful.
Through Bible Lessons for Women, I offer you resources to aid in study of His word. I do this through lessons I write, as well as lessons written by women that I know are faithful followers of Christ Jesus.

Our aim, mine and my Beloved’s, is to train up our child to know, love and serve God through Christ and to reach a heavenly abode. Won’t you join me in study from God’s word? As you and I grow, we can help our children to come to knowledge of the One who created them, sent a savior for them and is awaiting for them to make the choice, when they have understanding, to enter into a covenant relationship with Him. We can lead our children to God’s peace.
The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.” Isaiah 32:17
