The birds have come to our feeder.

I have always enjoyed bird watching. Now Little Man is developing a love for it as well.

My dad, has several feeders at his house and I’m always amazed at the number of species who eat from them. 

So far we have seen 4 species: The House Finch, both male and female; The House Sparrow, both male and female; The Black-Capped Chickadee; and the White-Breasted Nuthatch.

We also have one little chipmunk, who has lived just outside our window for as long as we’ve been here. Every morning he would get walnuts from the walnut tree in our yard and eat them on our from stoop. Now, he too is enjoying our bird feeder. I simply don’t have the heart to try and stop him.
