How do you speak to your husband?

So often I hear women here and there speaking to their spouses as if they were children. I hear women talk down to them, or speak with fits of hatred in their voice.

How do you speak to your husband? 

God designed for our men to be the head of our family. Would you go into the CEO’s office at a multi-million dollar company and speak to them in disrespectful tone? Why then, would we speak to the CEO of our families in that way. You see our spouses are not children, they are not even boys, they are MEN. They are the men that we have promised to love, honor and cherish. Yet, women go about talking about their men as if they are unintelligent and uninteresting. 

How do you speak to your husband?

Do you honor him amongst your friends? Or, do you ridicule and laugh at him behind his back? Do you lift him up and encourage him or do you beat him down with your words? Do you berate him when he makes even a tiny mistake? Or do you rather remember that  you are not perfect either and therefore seek to forget it, or better yet forgive and move on? Do you work at holding your own tongue and hearing instead what he has to say? Do you listen to him with intention and honor his words as you would your own heart?
