Pinterest Fashion for the Whole Family

There is no doubt that Pinterest is a fabulous tool that allows us to get ideas, tips and information. I use it for so many things. What I love most about it is that I don’t just pin things and forget them. I pin them and reference them often. I try ideas out too, and the ones that work, I implement into our home, life, or homeschool.

Lately I’ve been using Pinterest to help me to update my families wardrobe. Having a child, I am ever on the hunt for clothing that fits because he outgrows what I buy almost as quickly as I buy it. But with Beloved having been unemployed for two complete years, wardrobe shopping was definitely not high on our priority list. Now that he has once again been working a full time job we can weed out old, torn, ill-fitting clothing and replace them with needful things.

So I’ve been pinning away. I love that I can just hop on there and find some ideas for what is age-appropriate, modest and still modern at the same time looks for myself, my husband and my son.  Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of pins out there that aren’t appropriate and I do my best to avoid them. I try to only pin what I think is modest. Sometimes I’ll pin something with a tank or spaghetti strap even though I know I’d never wear it without a jacket or a wrap of some kind. I don’t try to copy a look exactly but rather use the pins as inspiration for putting together cohesive outfits.

So today I wanted to share with you my Pinboards for you to follow. Maybe you too, will find inspiration when it comes to shopping for and dressing your family.

Ok, so if you are here for the first time you may be wondering where the pinboards are for girls. Well there are none in my Pinterest world because I’m mom to an only child and he happens to be a boy.

I have several other Pinboards for my own wardrobe inspirations, these are divided by seasonal looks. I don’t consider myself to be a fashionista by any stretch of the imagination. But I do hope that when I dress to leave the house I look put together, modern and age appropriate. Here are my seasonal styles pinboards.

How do you keep your family looking up to date and dressed appropriately? Do you pin looks you want to try?
