Considering Homeschool?
I remember when we were first making the decision. It was SO scarey. There were so many great reasons to homeschool, and just as many reasons to NOT homeschool. We knew we would teach him about the Lord whether we homeschoolled or not, just as our parents did for us. We knew that public school has all the great resources to educate our child. We knew that we were ill-equipped for the task of teaching a talented child like Jonathan is. I Love Being a Mom
I prayed for many a year for the honor of becoming a mom. Now that I am, I look around at other mothers and wonder why they complain so much. Sometimes I get down right mad. I try not to, I try to be patient and understanding. I try to realize that every woman faces motherhood from their own unique perspective and that my perspective isn’t the only one. Training Up a Man
I’m training up a a boy. I’m training up a man. Training takes practice. I want to give him a good foundation so that when he is grown to be a man he will know the proper way to treat his wife. Beloved does such a good job of teaching him responsibility, and setting an example for how to be a gentleman, but I am the woman that needs to teach him how a lady likes to be treated.
