Don’t Forget to Vote!!!

Today I am grateful to God the Father that I am privileged to live in a country where I have the right to cast my ballot. I’m thankful that I have the right to express my thoughts, beliefs, opinions and morality both in speech and in the election booth. I’m grateful that I live in a country where the people still have the right to choose who will be their leaders and that we have a government of the people for the people and by the people. As I head to the polls today, I pray that God will guide my hand to choose those who seek to lead this country in the ways which are reflective of the standards by which it was founded.

Romans 13:1
“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”

Father of Mercy I thank you. You are gracious to have led your people to this land almost 400 years ago. You are gracious to have allowed the settlers who were far outnumbered to have been victorious in the war of revolution. You are gracious to have led those first fathers to have established our government based upon biblical principles. You are gracious. I am thankful that I have the honor of raising my hand in the election booth to declare who I believe will most truthfully remain loyal to those principles. May you be blessed in this nation and may you bless this country. In the precious name of Christ Jesus I pray.
