You know I keep telling you how much I love going to the Cincinnati Great Homeschool Convention. I’m looking forward to going again next spring and I’m hoping my Beloved will be able to attend with me. He enjoys it as much as I do.

We’ve gone together in the past and made it a couples weekend. It’s nice sometimes to get away with your honey while being encouraged together in a common goal.

I’m always stunned at how large the vendor hall is even though I’ve been 4 times now. Each year I find a wide variety of seminars to sit in on and learn at the feet of some amazing and wise men and women who are knowledgeable in many areas of homeschooling.

I continue to be amazed as Great Homeschool Conventions continues to offer more and more dynamic speakers to their already fabulous line-up. Just this past weekend they announced that Michael Medved from The Michael Medved show would be speaking at not 1 but all 3 conventions.

Michael’s show is a nationally syndicated radio talk show. As an advocate of homeschooling he is offering his Thanksgiving history audio download – “The First Thanksgiving – Pilgrims, Puritans and the Founding of America” as a FREE Download to all of Great Homeschool Conventions subscribers.

Oh and did you hear their other news? That Mike Gallagher will be speaking at the Greenville, SC convention and Matt Walsh will be speaking at all 3 locations!

So with all of these great new speakers being added to the line-up Great Homeschool Conventions has decided to extend their early bird discount until December 1st, 2013 for each of their 3 locations. So that means you still have time to get your tickets at the lowest possible rate.

I know that I am so very much looking forward to this years great line-up. Even my husband will be encouraged with speakers like Dr. Ben Carson, Kirk and his son Casey Martin, The Homeschool Scientist Jason Lindsey, Todd Wilson, and oh so many more. Now with the addition of these three I can guess that a LOT of homeschooling, principles, dads and the teacher’s husbands are going to Want to BE THERE!
