     Spring Cleaning During Unexpected Spring Break This week we took a break from school. I don’t typically schedule spring break, however I had the opportunity to babysit for a brother in the church who happens to live 3 doors down.     The Great Clean Up: Spring Cleaning

    Spring Cleaning Has Begun So there has been quite a flurry of activity around here of late. Walls are getting scrubbed, furniture dusted, carpets vacuumed. The window sills needed a good cleaning. Yuck! Did you know that spring cleaning has it’s roots in scripture? “ Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.” Exodus 12:15* This commandment from God was given to remove all leaven from the house of an Israelite family.
