Quick and Easy Green Strawberry and Grape Smoothie Recipe
I don’t always want breakfast when I wake up in the mornings. Sometimes, I’d rather just have a cup of coffee. But, that’s not the healthiest way to start the day. So, I try to make myself a smoothie to get myself going on days when I would prefer not to eat. They make a great breakfast idea for yourself or for the whole family when you need to grab and go. This strawberry and grape smoothie is packed with flavor and healthy goodness too.
A smoothie is a great treat anytime of the day. Their great for a quick snack, or with lunch. They can be super healthy, very tasty and can be a good alternative to ice cream or frozen yogurts. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good ice cream as much as the next gal and I’ve tried several recipes on-plan. But sometimes, you just want to have a quick and easy throw together healthy drink or snack.

I like quick and easy and that’s just what this smoothie is. These are ingredients I regularly keep on-hand in my kitchen. Grabbing them and throwing them into the blender couldn’t be simpler.
Plus, by pre-washing everything when I get it home from grocery and patting dry with a paper towel, they are ready to go at any given moment. I also store my grapes in a bowl layered with a paper towel. I find they stay fresher longer this way.
You can make this recipe using frozen strawberries as well. You may just want to reduce the number of ice cubes you put into the blender.
What are your favorite smoothie combinations? I’d love to get more ideas from you.
