Best Resources for Free Homeschool Unit Studies
In homeschool there are times when you come to know that a boxed curriculum just is not going to work for you. Fear not brave homeschool mom! There is a solution and that is homeschool unit studies.
Maybe you’ve bought materials and find that they aren’t what you thought they were. Or, you’ve come to the realization that text books simply do not fit your child’s learning style. What is a family to do when they’ve spent hard-earned money on materials that don’t fit their needs.

A unit study is simply a study that focuses on a single topic or idea. Then, during that study the student explores the topic from a variety of ways, from reading, to science, math, and writing. The unit, guides them through educational subjects while allowing the topical study to remain the central theme.
