It all starts with prep. Even in the fanciest of restaurant kitchens cooking begins with preparation of ingredients. The French call it, Mise en Place, or putting in place. By simply chopping, pre-cooking, and organizing ingredients the night before, you can pull together these casseroles quickly, and efficiently in the morning. You can even prep those ahead of time in the evening, refrigerate overnight, and simply bake in the morning.
Then, while the breakfast casseroles bake, you can get dressed for the day.

This is s simple casserole that combines all the classic breakfast ingredients that we all love. To make breakfast prep even easier, you can prep everything the night before. Measure out all the dry ingredients into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
Cook the bacon in the oven during the evening, drain, chop, and place in a zip bag and store in the fridge. Chop the green onion, and store in a small bowl or zip bag in the fridge. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients, cover and refrigerate.
The next morning, simply combine all the ingredients into the dry ingredients, and follow the instructions for baking.
